Adding The 'Yuri's Revenge' Soundtrack

You may well ask why it is necessary to do anything to enable the Yuri's Revenge music, since it already plays in the game by default. This is true, but there is something you can do to improve your game's performance. You may notice that the game pauses each time a new music track is accessed from your game CD. This is annoying and can be completely eliminated. I highly recommend following this procedure.

The Playlist Manager supports the (optional) playing of the YR loading and score themes during regular gameplay. (It is not necessary to copy the music tracks from the CD in order to hear these 2 additional tracks. Copying this music pack to your hard disk is done purely for performance reasons.)

Creating the Yuri's Revenge Music Pack:

1. Navigate to the root YR CD directory. [Help]
    
2. You should see the file theme.mix. Copy this file to your RA2 folder on your hard disk.
    
3. You're done. No more CD access pauses.
